Company Wild Goose Escapes

This was one of the scariest rooms I’ve done, and the jumps totally rattled me even though they warn you beforehand. If you don’t scare easily, you’ll love the quality puzzles. If you do, maybe skip it—I couldn’t relax enough to enjoy the flow.

Took my teens and they loved the handcuff start. Clear clues, nothing scary, and we actually talked to each other more than we do at dinner. Perfect gateway room.

Creepy without being over-the-top, and the fact it riffs on an uncaught serial killer amps the nerves. The intro is unlike anything I’ve done, there’s a quirky sacrificial moment mid-run, and while much of the puzzling is standard, it’s a medium challenge with lots of searching—keep your eyes sharp.

No actors, yet it still felt like someone was right behind us the whole time. The audio and layout are ace, and the puzzles clicked in a really satisfying way. We left grinning and a little hoarse from yelping. Highly recommend.

I’m a total scaredy cat and still found it spooky in a good way. The puzzles are linear and clever, the set design is delightfully creepy, and the soundscape plus a plot twist had me sweating—but I’d absolutely do it again.

Really nice ambiance and storytelling that put us in investigator mode. Mostly linear, no live actors, but the scares still landed. Big footprint with plenty to do, and our GM was quick when a prop hiccuped.

Felt like an actual haunted asylum, with spot-on sound and a ton of chances to collaborate. Puzzles were engaging without being obtuse, and it might be my favorite at this venue.

That opening had us whispering, then laughing, then scrambling—what a hook. Great sound, clean logic, and our GM kept the tension just right. We escaped with a minute to spare and felt like champs.

The split start is always a win in prison rooms. Production is simple yet on-theme, and while pairing pieces to the right locks took a minute, it paid off. The head-to-head option is cool, though I’d trade it for a bit more space.

Fun, but my first-timer friend was too spooked and the low light made it tough for her to contribute. My partner and I solved most of it and still finished early. Not ideal for absolute beginners, but the nonlinearity shines with a bigger group. The lantern could be brighter.
