AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently call it science-heavy with lots of reading and research, and most say the puzzles feel logical for a lab. Difficulty skews higher, with a slow or confusing start that improves once a first thread is found. Set design feels dated to some, and one dexterity puzzle is called a time sink. A few note similarities to other local zombie rooms, while staff support and hinting get praise.
WeaknessesSet can feel plain or dated, and one dexterity task can chew up time. Finding the first step is tricky for many teams. A couple of players question originality due to overlap with another venue’s zombie room.
StrengthsCohesive lab narrative where puzzles make sense and reward analytical thinking. Friendly, attentive game masters and solid hint support. Some cool props and a touch of tech add variety.
SecurityStandard briefing and close monitoring keep things controlled, with hints available when needed. Mostly mental challenges; one dexterity puzzle requires steady hands but not risky moves.
Level of fearMore creepy than scary, with tense moments but no full-on horror. Suitable for teens and skittish players, though zombie-averse folks might jump.
Actors' gameNo live actors reported; interaction is mainly through the game master and the hint system. Hosts like Gage get shout-outs for being supportive and friendly.
Quality of riddlesResearch-forward and reading-heavy with a solid science bent; generally fair and thematic once you catch the thread. Variety includes logic and a notable dexterity element that some felt wasted time. Flow improves after a tough opening.
PlotYou’re scientists racing in a Russian lab to discover a cure before the infected breach the door. The stakes are global and the 60-minute countdown adds urgency without needing jump scares.
Difficulty levelLeans challenging and can overwhelm non-science folks at first. Experienced teams or groups comfortable with reading-heavy logic will shine; beginners may need a few hints to get going.

We played before they removed a few puzzles, and it was brainy and tough. The science vibe was a lot for me at first, but it wasn’t unfair, and once we found a start it flowed. Friendly staff and helpful hints made it smooth.

Slow start for us, then everything clicked and it got really satisfying. A couple creepy touches, nothing nightmare-level. Staff was kind and quick with hints when we stalled.

Puzzle content is great and very on-theme, but the room looks a bit bare-bones. Watch out for a dexterity bit that can eat minutes if you rush. Still a fun, solid challenge.

This room put us in full zombie-research mode with tons of reading and digging. The lab-style puzzles made sense, but a dexterity bit gobbled time. Fun overall, though the set could use a refresh.

Loved the research angle. Once we found the first connection, the lab logic flowed and the GM’s nudges were perfectly timed. Not terrifying, just tense and clever. Would play again.

As a med nerd, I adored how the clues tied back to lab logic. Tough but fair, and the final sequence felt earned. Highly recommend to puzzle lovers.

Super fun room. Not truly scary, but a couple of moments added a nice creep factor, and watching our zombie-fearing teammate react was priceless. It’s on the harder side, in a good way.

This felt almost identical to a zombie room I did at another company, so I’m unsure about originality. Still, my team had fun, and the props and effects were cool even if familiar.

Gage was an excellent game master. The room felt a little dated in spots, but the experience itself was solid.

I liked it enough to run it twice. Very science-forward with a playful zombie twist, and we had a blast both times.

Similar to another location’s version with a simple white lab look and red splashes, though this one felt a bit more tech-driven. The rod mechanic was a neat touch.

Our chemistry and medical background actually helped us connect the dots faster. That was pretty satisfying.

I’ve seen a similar zombie lab elsewhere, so it didn’t feel super original to me. That said, our group had a good time and the props worked well. Mixed feelings overall.
