If I could rate lower, I would, mostly because of the GM. Across more than a hundred rooms, I’ve never seen a mix of arrogance and indifference like this, and it felt like he was juggling multiple rooms and the front desk while ignoring us. We spent 15–20 minutes yelling for help, got nothing until the end, then were scolded about hints being at his discretion. The final math puzzle dragged withou

Room was engaging and mostly non‑linear with interesting puzzles, but there was no reliable way to request hints. With a 25% success rate, we reached the last couple puzzles and just needed a nudge, yet the GM’s discretionary approach left us spinning our wheels. We couldn’t even get basic clarifications and skipped booking a second room because of it.

Lots of unusual interactions and props that fit the quirky steampunk and alchemy vibe. Some tech was faulty, including the final puzzle, and the first act felt cramped and tedious, but the last two acts were genuinely fun and lively. Imperfect, yet the ambition and creativity made the early slog worth it.

As a fan, I laughed a lot and the references were on point. Some puzzles were great and the tech was neat, plus the photo spot at the end is awesome. But the flow stumbled, the animated hint delivery got old fast, one tech interaction misread us, and the final puzzle was basically guess‑and‑check with way too many combos—no real logic, which ultimately made us fail and left a bad taste.

Hugely disappointing because of the GM. We were warned hints were at their discretion, then left waving for twenty minutes on the final puzzle with no help. The solution hinged on switching time bases with zero cluing, and the post‑game explanation was wrong before it was corrected. The room mixed janky with fun, but the GM made it an easy thumbs down for us.

I’d rate this lower purely based on the GM. We were told help would come around the 10‑minute mark, but it took 20, and we burned 30 minutes in the first puzzle. After that we cruised, yet the GM remained unhelpful and occasionally rude, which soured the whole thing.

We didn’t escape, but we laughed a lot. Tons of puzzles, good mix of logic and observation, and the school vibe is spot on. I’d bring five people next time and ask for nudges earlier.

Bond vibes with a casino area were fun, but there’s just too much to sift through early on. Tough for two people to cover in an hour, and a couple puzzles felt like they could have multiple valid answers.

Wildly creative set pieces and a non‑linear flow that kept eight of us busy the whole hour. We needed a couple nudges, but when the room sang, it really sang. One of the mechanisms was pure magic. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Loved the theme and the sheer amount to do, but the hint delay cost us momentum. With so many inputs, the notification chime was easy to miss in the chaos. Still a fun, meaty challenge for a large group.
