AI Overview

AIPlayers rave about the theme-park-quality set and strong soundscape, plus friendly staff. The common pain points are unclear objectives, a slow start, and linear flow that feels confusingly non-linear. Puzzle quality is uneven, with a few malfunctions and fussy inputs reported. Flashing lights bothered some players and even triggered headaches for a few.
WeaknessesFlashing and strobing lights can be harsh and even headache-inducing. Signposting is light, the opener drags, and some puzzles feel underclued or finicky, with occasional tech failures. The linear path can bottleneck larger teams.
StrengthsStunning, immersive set and soundtrack that sell the space fantasy. Staff are warm and engaged, and there are a few standout tech interactions. When it clicks, it’s very fun and satisfying.
SecurityStandard briefing and monitoring are implied; no physical safety issues flagged. The standout concern is aggressive flashing effects that caused headaches for some, so ask about accommodations if photosensitive.
Level of fearNot horror; it leans on tension and urgency over scares. Teens and up should be fine, but those sensitive to flashing lights or sci‑fi peril should take note.
Actors' gameNo live actors mentioned; interaction is mostly with consoles and ship systems. Game masters get praise for being friendly and attentive.
Quality of riddlesHighly tactile and tech-forward with variety, but fairness is mixed. Several players found steps unclear or arbitrary, and a couple of puzzles reportedly misfired. The room is largely linear despite looking open, which can stall momentum.
PlotClassic space-survival arc: repair the Intrepid, contain a threat, and try to get home. Story beats are light early on and become clearer near the end.
Difficulty levelModerate to hard, made tougher by sparse signposting and a slow start. Plays smoother with a smaller, focused group; first-timers may need hints.

Cool consoles and lots to press, but it’s more linear than it looks, so five of us ended up waiting on one track. Still, when the pieces connected, it felt awesome. Would recommend for a smaller, puzzle-forward crew.

Staff were fantastic and the set is theme-park level, with great audio, but the room badly needs clearer prompts. We crawled out of the gate, the GM said everyone does, and it never quite flowed until the very end. Beautiful space, frustrating experience for me.

Four of our six left with headaches that lasted into the next day, and the flashing lights made several puzzles tougher to execute. I’d been excited for this one, but the lighting and frustration took the shine off.

The set looks straight out of a theme park and the soundtrack hums around you. Our trio clicked with the logic and the flow, and the tech moments felt slick rather than fussy. We left grinning like kids after a launch.

I was ready for the time to run out. It felt like Dark Sector with minimal changes, and two puzzles misbehaved, costing us time and the win. Compared to their hits like Escape from Alcatraz, Big Top Circus, and Legend of the 7th Stone, this just isn’t in the same league.

Immersion is great, but the strobes wrecked me halfway through and I left with a headache. A couple puzzles were touchy about inputs, though the GM was kind and tried to help. Mixed bag overall.

My least favorite at North Valley. The tech overwhelms, the room looks open but plays strictly linear, and there’s barely any signposting. The set shines and there are a few fun beats, but the puzzle flow let it down.

Gorgeous room, but two tech steps didn’t fire cleanly and burned our time. It felt like a remix of things we’ve seen before, just shinier. Staff was lovely; the game itself didn’t land for me.

I’m not usually good at high-tech rooms, yet I enjoyed the gadgets and most puzzles here. I still got stumped a few times, and I think it plays best with a smaller group.

Super immersive build and atmosphere, even if a few puzzles weren’t the cleanest to execute. Despite the rough edges, we had a really fun time overall.

If you like space and gadgets, this is candy. Not scary, just tense and loud in spots, with one killer reveal. Flow gets foggy early on, but with a few nudges we had a blast.

Good game in my book. I know it didn’t click for others, but it flowed well for our team and we enjoyed the ride.
