Go for the rare genie theme, pretty set pieces, and low‑stress puzzling—great for first‑timers, families, or a cute date. The staff is stellar and keeps things smooth, even if the game leans linear.

AI Overview

AIPlayers agree the room is whimsical but compact, with a standout look for such an uncommon theme. Puzzles are approachable and often search‑based, yet several felt there weren’t many and that the flow is quite linear. Build quality and props read a bit cheap to some, with a couple of puzzles not clearly signposted. Staff gets consistent praise, it plays well with kids, and at least one team found the two‑player price steep.
WeaknessesCommon complaints include a small space, modest prop quality, and puzzle variety that can feel repetitive and search‑heavy. Some wanted more puzzles and clearer cluing, and the linear path can leave bigger teams idle. One group flagged the two‑player price as high for the experience.
StrengthsUnusual genie aesthetic with charming details, including a memorable ceiling. Friendly, accommodating staff and approachable puzzles make it welcoming for newcomers and families.
SecurityNo safety concerns were mentioned in reviews. Staff attentiveness helps the experience feel comfortable for families and newcomers.
Level of fearZero scare factor and kid‑friendly; one group brought a bunch of kids and still had a good time. Expect whimsy over tension.
Actors' gameNo live actors mentioned; interaction is via the game and hint system. Staff are attentive and supportive throughout.
Quality of riddlesGenerally easy and accessible, with a lot of searching and matching. Some teams enjoyed the puzzle set, while others found it repetitive, with a few elements hard to recognize as puzzles. The game trends linear and light on total quantity.
PlotYou’re trapped inside a genie’s lamp and must work together through magic to escape before time runs out. The story is light, playful, and there mainly to frame the puzzles.
Difficulty levelOverall on the easier side—ideal for beginners, families, and casual groups. Experienced players may find it too linear and under‑puzzled, especially in larger teams.

An okay game with the coolest ceiling I’ve ever seen and pretty solid walls, but the puzzle decor felt cheap. There weren’t enough puzzles, and a couple didn’t even read as puzzles. Still a fun, decent date night, just pricey for two at $45 per person—drops to $30 each with 4+. It’s linear too, so bigger groups may have less to do.

Loved the rare genie vibe. The ceiling is a showstopper, the set is cute, and the staff were absolute gems. Super approachable puzzles—perfect for easing my newbie friends in. Not the deepest game, but it’s a sweet time.

Brought our kids and it was a win—gentle, colorful, and not scary. Staff were wonderfully patient and hints were on point. Great starter room, small space though.

Did it as a date night. We had fun, but for two people the $45 each stung a bit, and the game felt quite linear. Nice set pieces, solid staff, just wish there were more puzzles.

Charming and offbeat theme with a small set, and we actually liked the whole puzzle lineup. Very beginner‑friendly and I’d recommend it to new groups. We played with a bunch of kids who tagged along and the North Valley staff were super accommodating.

Very skippable for me. Most puzzles felt alike, with lots of hunting through similar items for exact matches. The set was fine but came off amateurish. The unusual theme is the best part, yet the execution misses the mark.

I usually recommend all of North Valley’s rooms, but this one didn’t hit the same quality bar. It’s whimsical, just not as polished as their others. As always, customer service was excellent.

Unique theme, friendly crew, but the props and puzzle variety didn’t wow our experienced team. Still enjoyable, just not on par with the venue’s stronger rooms.

If you hate search‑heavy rooms, skip this one. Lots of matching and rummaging, not much variety, and a few things didn’t look like puzzles at all. Theme is cool, execution felt mid.

The gameplay was super easy in my opinion, and the puzzles could’ve used more design time. That said, the room looked great—really pretty and cool overall.
