Company Eludesions Escape Rooms

Easily one of my least favorite rooms: dated set, dirty corners, and several broken or half-working puzzles. We spent more time trying to coax props to function than actually solving. No AC, just box fans, and the only GM communication was via a hard-to-use TV. Felt like they cared more about payment than fixing the room.

The Wicked Witch’s castle set absolutely floored us—easily one of our favorite builds. Game masters were helpful through the electronic hint system, and the storyline was delightfully creative. We hit a few tech hiccups and would welcome clearer guidance markers, but the experience still earned top marks from us.

Enthusiasts may ding the thin, cheesy story and the ultra-linear design, and a few laminated-paper puzzles feel out of place. But after 130+ rooms, I’ve rarely felt this calm. The atmosphere fits, the polish is close, and the central console makes progress crystal clear. Puzzles layer well, lean on logic, and deliver a fair, challenging ride with a unique vibe.

Gorgeous build, but we’re puzzle-first people and this leaned heavier on search-and-find than we like. Some steps felt underclued or a bit illogical. Compared to Oz, this had more puzzles and spaces and was the better choice. We played as four (probably too many) and escaped with about three minutes left after asking for no unsolicited nudges.

Stunning set, fewer true puzzles than we hoped, and way too much searching for our taste. Some steps weren’t signposted and one leaned on Oz knowledge, so we needed hints. If you only do one room here, Mad Hatter has stronger puzzling; this felt smaller and shorter for the price. Four players was more than we needed, and we still finished with about 15 minutes left.

I’ve done about 15 rooms and this ended up my favorite of the trip. The puzzles hit that sweet spot—engaging without being punishing—and the set and props were the best I’ve seen.

This room is huge and nails that Wonderland feeling of wandering through somewhere wild. Puzzles are approachable and the staging feels theatrical, with one of my favorite blacklight uses to date. Staff even let me stand in and watch when I brought family back, which I really appreciated.

Spectacular room with a fully realized, spooky atmosphere and inventive, non‑lock puzzles. We’d heard the finale trips people up, but listening closely to the GM’s intro made it click. Riley was awesome and made the debrief as fun as the game.

We hit multiple rooms here, and Case File X scratched the itch for UFOs, aliens, and government secrecy—total Mulder-and-Scully energy. The GMs used the electronic hint system well, and the stories feel genuinely creative. It was boiling inside and the box fans were loud. A couple locks were finicky and one puzzle didn’t trigger cleanly, which killed the vibe. GM only talked through a screen, so getting help felt clunky.
