About the escape room
You are secret service agent Jack Lanman, personal bodyguard to the President of the United States onboard Secret Air Mission 27000, also known as Air Force One. You are returning from a European trip with the President that included the G7 Global Economic summit. At the summit it was declared that meaningful discussions with Russia were not possible after Mikhail Gorbachev, leader of the Soviet Union continually refused to meet the President to discuss global peace enhancing the threat to the United States and the rest of the World. You are on the final leg of your journey, high above the clouds in US airspace en-route to the next Presidential meetings in Dallas, Texas. Suddenly and without warning, each of the four engines on the Boeing VC-137C stop, and the emergency security override puts the plane into a controlled glide towards the surface. The 45,000 feet of altitude will buy you time, but what has caused the engines to suddenly fail? You soon realize that you are in the center of a serious act of sabotage specifically aimed at taking out the President with no thought for casualties, including you! Whoever is responsible has also kidnapped the flight crew so you are alone to solve the mystery and attempt to bring the stricken aircraft safely back to earth. Your mission is to restart the engines and safely land the plane. You will need to establish your position and learn how to safely engage the autopilot to give yourselves any chance of survival. But first, you need to find which of the crew is not a genuine member of the Secret Service and is, in fact, a Spy whose final mission is to eliminate the President in an attempt to destroy the United States. Do you have the necessary skills to uncover the carefully laid plot? Can you keep your nerve under extreme pressure as the plane slowly loses altitude? A maximum glide time of 60 minutes gives you one shot at becoming a world hero, forever remembered for saving AIr Force One, the President, and all lives on board. Or will time run out before you have chance to complete your mission?

AI Overview

AIPlayers rave about the airplane build, from cabin to cockpit, and call out staff for friendly, helpful guidance. The game flows linearly and mostly cleanly, though several note some logic leaps and a drawn-out end sequence. Space runs tight, especially near the cockpit, so smaller groups have a better time. A few props or tech bits have hiccupped, but game masters addressed them quickly.
WeaknessesLate puzzles can get convoluted, with one button-heavy finale frustrating some teams. The room feels cramped beyond four, and occasional broken items or light signposting gaps can slow momentum.
StrengthsConvincing aircraft atmosphere with authentic-feeling details and a solid mix of locks and tech. Clear stakes keep energy high, and hosts are proactive without overstepping.
SecurityBriefings are clear and friendly, and staff step in fast if something misfires. Movement can be snug around the cockpit, so watch your spacing in larger groups.
Level of fearNot scary—think suspenseful aviation thriller, not horror. Families with kids around 8–10 handled it well.
Actors' gameGame masters get kudos for warm intros, humor, and timely hints. Interaction is GM-led rather than actor-driven, but it feels personable and supportive.
Quality of riddlesMostly linear with on-theme tasks that blend tactile locks and aircraft-style tech. Expect a bit of outside-the-box thinking and a dash of geography or history, all manageable with hints. The finale sequence can run long and tricky.
PlotSabotage cripples Air Force One, and you’re the agent racing to restart engines, engage autopilot, and smoke out a spy. The stakes stay high without needing twists spelled out.
Difficulty levelMedium-to-hard with a few leaps that may challenge first-timers. Best with 2–4 players; six can feel squeezed and underused.

Will’s intro mixed safety and humor perfectly, and the set looked like a real airplane. Early puzzles were on-theme and clicked well, with tech that boosted the realism. Later on, some steps got convoluted with a long button sequence, and the end area felt cramped even for our group of four. Hard to picture six in there.

From the aisle to the cockpit, the build is spot-on. We felt the time pressure without feeling lost, and our GM nudged us only when we asked. Loved the mix of switches, codes, and clever reveals. Easy 5 stars.

We went as a family of four with kids 14 and 10 and it was awesome. Everyone had something to do, and four felt like the perfect team size. Harder than we expected, super realistic, and uniquely put together. Shout-out to Brice for being fantastic.

One of our top Escapology plays. It’s a bit older, but that actually fits the story, especially with the authentic-looking cabin and cockpit pieces. The locks and tech make sense for the setting, and a couple of puzzles reward creative thinking and some light history or geography knowledge.

Brought our 10-year-old and everyone got to pitch in. Not scary, just tense and exciting, and the autopilot moment was a rush. Will’s safety talk set the tone and the team kept it fun.

Good blend of locks and tech with one clue that leaned on geography trivia. You do need to think sideways a few times. Four players felt like the sweet spot.

The space is cool and different, but the puzzle path is very linear. It didn’t suit our group of six, and a few broken items meant one or two puzzles didn’t work as intended. This would land better with a smaller team.

Loved the aviation theme and the room really sells the feeling of being on a plane. One final puzzle was pretty frustrating. We escaped with just two players, though it would be fun with a group too.

Hassison welcomed us and Bryce ran the game, both super kind and helpful. The flow felt smooth and our group of five, ages 8 to 45, had a great time start to finish.

Our group of six hit a broken prop, and the linear path meant a couple of us stood around. Staff fixed it fast, but the pause broke our rhythm. Cool set, average overall.

Went as a trio and the game flowed cleanly, with just one late puzzle that felt a little leap-y. Space near the cockpit was snug but manageable. The theme carries the whole ride.

Overall a strong room. We hit a couple of minor tech hiccups, but our GM jumped on them quickly and kept us moving without losing the flow.

The gameplay mostly made sense, and despite a couple of signposting misses, we had a good time. Nothing felt unfair, just a little unclear in spots.
