AI Overview

AIPlayers repeatedly call out an older, low-tech aesthetic that’s light on decor but anchored by strong, logical puzzles. Staff and GMs get consistent praise for friendly hosting, ask-only hinting, and well-timed nudges. Difficulty leans moderate-to-hard with lots of codes and a mostly linear flow that sometimes lets you split tasks. A few report sticky mechanisms and clunky bits, yet fun and replay buzz stay high.
WeaknessesThe set looks basic and a bit dated, with a homemade vibe. Some locks and props need TLC, and an occasional puzzle can feel clunky if a mechanism sticks. The story reads simple to a few players.
StrengthsSmart, fair puzzles with clear logic and a theme that ties clues together. GMs are attentive and kind, landing hints right when you need them. Little extras like costumes and a small twist keep it lively.
SecurityStandard briefings and attentive monitoring keep things smooth, with help arriving quickly on request. No intense physical challenges noted.
Level of fearNot scary, more mysterious with a mildly unsettling beat in the back half. Safe for teens and families who like intrigue without horror.
Actors' gameGMs like Grace, Kaylee, and Theresa earn shout-outs for sharp pacing and supportive, ask-only guidance. Interaction feels human and helpful without stepping on your solves.
Quality of riddlesHeavy on ciphers, codes, and hidden-in-plain-sight finds that feed into physical locks. Logic is fair and cohesive, mostly linear with a few moments to divide and conquer. Some mechanisms can be finicky, but the flow generally lands cleanly.
PlotYou’re chasing the Illuminati and must pass their initiation by uncovering secrets in a curious office. The narrative is straightforward, with a fun twist that nudges the tension up a notch.
Difficulty levelModerate to challenging, ideal for groups who enjoy codebreaking volume and steady momentum. Duos can finish with tight time management, while newer players may want hints ready.

This one humbled us in a good way—tough, different puzzles, and we got stuck on a mistake we made. GM was excellent, and the latter half felt unsettling without being scary. A solid test for experienced players.

Loved the brainy vibe here. Grace kept our ask-only hints perfectly timed and we squeaked out with minutes left—so satisfying. Not flashy, just smart and fair.

We had an absolute blast with Grace as our GM—helped only when we asked. Puzzles were challenging but satisfying, and we liked it enough to book another room right after.

Simple, older-school look with some National Treasure-style hides, lots of cryptography, and codes feeding into physical locks. Mostly linear and easy to follow, and it fits the theme nicely.

The set and ambiance are okay, not high-end, but the puzzles and storyline really shine. I’d love a revamp of the decor because the theme deserves it.

Kaylee nailed the ask-only vibe—she let us grind and chimed in just enough. We escaped with about five minutes left and had a blast.

Lots of locks and ciphers, so bring folks who like codes. We split tasks a bit but it’s mostly linear—solid challenge for three or four.

Did it as a team of two and had a great time. Theresa was a fantastic GM, and we left excited to book our next room.

Good room that could use some TLC. One puzzle issue ate a lot of time, but our GM was friendly, and we still enjoyed ourselves. With a few fixes and stronger decor, it could really pop.

Super puzzle-heavy with lots of codes leading to locks and then more locks. Feels built for bigger groups who like volume.

Decor is pretty bare-bones, but the puzzles click and the flow makes sense. We felt engaged the whole time and left grinning.

Story didn’t wow me and one lock fought us, which killed momentum. Still, the staff was excellent and we finished with seconds to spare.

Some puzzles were a bit clunky and the theming is basic, but the staff was outstanding and kept things fun.

Pretty basic room with standard locks and a story that didn’t land for me. If you need a quick puzzle fix, it works, but it’s not especially memorable.

Wore a monk robe, cracked a bunch of codes, and got that eerie twist near the end—great night for our duo. Simple set, big smiles.
