Our crew set the record and still felt challenged in a good way. Smart puzzle design, standout GMs, and surprisingly fresh ideas for such a familiar pirate theme.

The sets looked cool from cell to ship to cave, but the game never really clicked. We ran into broken tech, extra steps that muddied the logic, a vague ending, and a GM who seemed checked out—no photo or wrap-up, just a quiet exit.

Our second visit was much better thanks to a more enthusiastic GM. The room isn’t hard or punishing, makes smart use of space, has a dim section where glasses help, and could use a little refresh on some finicky locks. Not a huge-budget build, but we still had a good time.

This one needs maintenance. We hit several broken or aging mechanisms, the welcome was lukewarm, hints lagged, and the low light with cluttered floors felt unfriendly for accessibility. Overall, old and awkward for the wrong reasons.

This one humbled us in a good way—tough, different puzzles, and we got stuck on a mistake we made. GM was excellent, and the latter half felt unsettling without being scary. A solid test for experienced players.

Lean, lively pirate fun. Our GM kept the energy high, and the locks had personality. Two of us cleared it with time to spare and still felt satisfied.

Cute, family-friendly pirate run with rooms that change as you go. Mostly linear with lock-and-key plus some tech; a couple locks failed and the GM had to step in. Nothing too tough, a few logic leaps, but the staff’s enthusiasm helped and 3–4 players feels right.

Loved the brainy vibe here. Grace kept our ask-only hints perfectly timed and we squeaked out with minutes left—so satisfying. Not flashy, just smart and fair.

Took my teens and they loved hopping from jail to ship to cave. The room felt hand-built in the best way, and the staff made it feel like an adventure.

We had an absolute blast with Grace as our GM—helped only when we asked. Puzzles were challenging but satisfying, and we liked it enough to book another room right after.
