We played The Vault last night and were genuinely delighted. Puzzles felt unique, challenging, and well executed, and the set looked impressively real. Shy was one of the most delightful GMs we’ve had. Proof that a smaller room with simple mechanics can still deliver a fantastic time for both new and seasoned players.

Not many medieval rooms out there, so this was a treat. The entry reveal hits hard, the build hides the ceiling well, and while some props are worn, they fit the vibe. Audio needs a volume bump, and a few solves made it tough to notice what actually opened. Our host Shi was fantastic and the puzzles balanced straightforward steps with real challenge.

Being so tech heavy means more chances to break, and we hit three issues: the intro video never played, hint sounds were off, and the final victory video didn’t trigger. Loved the castle build and the way the puzzles feel hands-on instead of combo-lock spam. Our GM kept the energy high, and the room clicked once we spotted a sneaky visual cue. Would absolutely recommend to a group that communicates well.

We did it with five and that was plenty; more would’ve just added noise. It’s one of the most unique rooms I’ve played and the tech worked for us. There were some logic leaps and the pacing of when info arrives could be better, but it was tough and super fun overall.

One of the better bank-vault builds we’ve seen—nothing groundbreaking, but the interior looked good. Gameplay was fun if a bit glitchy, and solving out of sequence can break later steps. Our GM was super friendly and upbeat. Best fit for beginners to intermediate players or anyone wanting a relaxed run.

Packed with heist-style puzzles, this compact room squeezes a lot of flow into a small space. Our friend new to escape rooms actually saved the day at one point. We hit a snag from a missed reset, but Elsa gave a perfect hint and we were off again. Challenging and great overall.

Great potential, but a lot of puzzles missed. Without hints, there are logic jumps, and you’ll be reading constantly. The blacklight paint was so faint it was pointless, and the do‑not‑touch stickers everywhere pulled me out of the world.
