Two of our locks failed on us, and the actor was basically feeding us the code because the hardware wasn’t cooperating. When we asked afterward how it should have worked, we got a snarky “we don’t speak to dead people.” Frustrating, since the room itself was the issue.

We expected way more given the hype. It’s essentially two rooms, only 45 minutes, and the actor’s moments ate up time before real clues surfaced. The split start burned half our game and a key clue from the beginning wasn’t used until the end, which made the linear flow feel off. Not very scary; overall gameplay felt underwhelming.

I loved how the actor folded into the plot and puzzle work with interactions I’ve never had before. Unfortunately, the end puzzle wouldn’t trigger even though we followed instructions to the letter, which cost us the escape. Still a fun room.

Great sets and a fun performer, but 45 minutes felt short with not enough puzzle meat. We finished early with three unsolicited hints, and the game leaned on finding random stuff more than clever deduction, even if the actor bit was my favorite part.

Our group of four had a blast. The actor wasn’t just set dressing—she drove the story and even a puzzle, all in character. Creepy, funny, and tight on time in the best way. Would absolutely run it again.

Atmosphere for days. The set feels legit, the actor played off our choices, and the puzzles snapped into place once we communicated. Creepy, not nightmare fuel. Would absolutely come back for the next chapter.

I expected terrifying, but it was more creepy than scary. Starting split was interesting, the actor was solid, yet an early clue paying off at the very end bugged me, and a task that clashed with normal safety rules felt wrong. Our GM missed things we’d already solved, and I spent stretches waiting while others searched, though overall it was still fun and we escaped.

We ran it with seven and the room itself is strong—great immersion and a great performer—but there just isn’t enough to keep that many people busy. I’d tell friends to bring three or four instead.

Clear maintenance fatigue showed, with removed puzzles leaving traces and some props that no longer did anything. Nothing felt especially fresh, and the actor pushed too hard—opening locks for us and even dropping a key despite playing blind.

Favorite room of the night. One puzzle was unlike anything I’ve seen, and the actor’s in-character nudges were gold. Sweet spot of creepy and fun—do it with three or four people.
