We paid extra on the weekend for the live actor—$10 per person—and they showed up for maybe five minutes to do a single task. Not worth the upcharge. Most puzzles felt medium, but one was tough only because the lighting and contrast were poor. Game masters walked in to call time and were curt during debrief. Light recommendation at best.

Our experienced team cleared it in about 27 minutes and set a record. Puzzles were pretty simple, and we didn’t have an actor. I wouldn’t suggest this one without the actor, and the Groupon deal skips them, so you trade price for experience.

The room wasn’t bad, just very horror‑themed and super dark. Finding the building was hard since it’s only labeled as a comic book store, the door was locked with no note, no one answered the phone, and we didn’t start until about 10–15 minutes after our time.

My first horror escape room, and I loved the live actor. Super memorable with parts of our group hiding in fear, puzzles around medium difficulty, and we finished right near the end because the scares slowed us down.

We bounced off broken locks and a clunky hint system. The game master barged in, asked what we needed, then dropped a vague clue—total immersion breaker. The zombie even told us to go back into another room while he stepped out. Very awkward.

Went on a Saturday and the live actor dialed the tension to eleven. We screamed, we laughed, and the puzzles still flowed well enough to feel fair. Creepy office set, lots of feels, great night.

We had a blast. The live actor gave it some punch, puzzles were clear and linear, and our group of eight escaped with around 25 minutes left. Definitely on the easy side, but still a good time.

Between an extra charge talk for the actor and a sticky lock, the magic kind of fizzled. The set looked bare in spots and we were done quickly. Not terrible, just not worth the premium for us.

Not for the faint of heart. Mostly in the dark with a live actor, tougher with bigger groups since there aren’t many ways to see, but overall a good room. Skip it if the dark scares you; the puzzles use the theme decently.

We booked for five, but a random four were added at the last minute and had to share the space. The puzzles didn’t make much sense and the plot felt irrelevant, so I don’t recommend it even if you want thrills.
