Company ESCAPE! Alaska

This was our first escape room and it totally spoiled us. The set is packed with surprises, the puzzles feel fresh, and the atmosphere is immaculate. They were also crystal clear about what was and wasn’t part of the game, and the story pulled us right in.

Brilliantly designed room with clever puzzles and a rich noir ambiance. There’s a strong tobacco-like scent in the NOIR area that fits the theme but can be rough for sensitive players; you can step out, and later sections are lighter on it. I’d still highly recommend and plan to try their other game.

I adored this room and it jumped into my all-time favorites. Immersion was top-notch and the plot, pacing, and puzzles all sang. I skipped hints, but that 1930s phone is a gorgeous touch, and even small props—like black-and-white cards—fit the era perfectly.

Staff stayed in character, the lobby felt welcoming, and the owner was genuinely friendly. The game itself was a blast and, honestly, we liked it more than a much-hyped Anchorage spot. If you’re downtown, it’s worth grabbing an Uber out to ESCAPE! Alaska.

Top-three room for me out of dozens. Actors set the tone, puzzles land cleanly, and the little period details—even the paper goods—sell the world. I walked out grinning.

Fun and great-looking, but it’s on the short side. The clue book forces a linear track, so only one or two people can work at once; smaller teams will be happier. Splitting that book into shareable pieces would help.

The vibe is pure noir and the room looks stunning. Staff stayed in character and the 1930s phone for hints was such a nice touch. We felt like real gumshoes and escaped with a couple minutes left. Loved it.

We had a blast. The design, props, and puzzle solutions are super immersive and all on theme, and hints were there if needed. Pro tip: skip open-toe shoes—there’s sand.

We ran it as a duo and were busy the whole time—smart locks, great reveals, nothing felt random. One hint and we made it with seconds left. Felt cinematic in the best way.

Incredible room and deeply immersive from the first moment. Puzzles are clever without being punishing, and the staff’s enthusiasm sells the story—shoutout to Dawson! Easily among my favorites.
