Easily one of our worst outings. The moment we arrived the vibe felt pretentious, and the actor was more distracting than helpful. Hints repeated the same idea without moving us forward, and the puzzles leaned messy and illogical, creating difficulty for the wrong reasons. Also, logistics weren’t great on our first attempt with a double booking and a long wait outside. Not a pick for enthusiasts.

Our group of eight found Chapter 2 the weakest link. The puzzle stream didn’t connect well, and more light would have helped more than think-outside-the-box pep talks. The actor turned distracting over time, watching us and sometimes blocking the view of what we needed. The space felt tight for a big team, which added to the friction.

This was a blast in parts but also maddening. The red herrings tripped us up over and over, while the actual solutions were often much simpler than we thought. Our actor was fantastic and gave hints with clever wordplay that nudged without spoiling. Production felt high and the team was lovely, and we’re planning to come back for Chapter 2.
