About the escape room
What is now known as the Earth War incident is remembered by intelligence operatives worldwide for the disgrace it caused Weyland Industries. After the company’s downfall, many expected that its CEO, Peter Weyland, would receive a harsh sentence as payment for his crime of almost causing the end of the world while continuing his father’s twisted experiments. Instead, he escaped just before the trail was to begin. Also missing are Eugene Weyland, the founder of Weyland Industries and his daughter, Alice Weyland. They are wanted as part of an ongoing investigation into crimes committed years ago. Before vanishing, Peter managed to acquire a new technology from his father, allowing him to slip through time. He has also stolen valuable research from the Umbrella Corporation’s scientist, Dr. Birkin. Using several different sources, we have been able to piece together Peter’s strategy. We believe that he has escaped into time and intends to destroy humanity in the year 2055, using a new and extremely deadly virus. His motives for doing this are unknown at this time. In order to create a defensive strain which can be used to prevent global annihilation, the Umbrella Corporation has put together a new group: The Icarus Team. As members of this exclusive unit, you have been tasked with finding all of the virus samples needed to create the defensive strain. Your superiors at the Umbrella Corporation are not sure exactly where you will have to go to find these samples, only that it will require you to utilize your superior intellect across space and time.

AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the immersive build and the big volume of puzzles. The room’s size nudges teams to split up, and the clue system gets specific love. Critiques center on uneven puzzle-to-theme cohesion and a reported broken puzzle that staff couldn’t resolve on one visit.
WeaknessesMaintenance can slip; one team hit a broken puzzle the staff couldn’t demonstrate after the win. A few puzzles feel disconnected from the story, and the scale can overwhelm small groups. One reviewer even called it the weakest room at that venue.
StrengthsThe environment feels blockbuster‑level and the layout is huge, with plenty of smart challenges to chew on. The hint system is responsive and keeps momentum without spoiling the fun.
SecurityNo safety concerns were reported in the reviews. Beyond that, there’s no data on special effects or physical demands.
Level of fearNot outright horror, but there’s a tense, unknown vibe that can raise your pulse. Likely fine for most teens; easily spooked players may find moments unsettling.
Actors' gameNo mentions of live actors or roleplay. Interaction seems focused on set pieces, props, and tech-driven clues.
Quality of riddlesThere’s lots of variety with parallel tracks, and most solves feel fair. Theming coherence wobbles at times, and at least one group ran into a broken element. Clear clues help manage the dense puzzle count.
PlotAs Icarus Team, you’re chasing virus samples across time to stop a 2055 extinction event tied to the Weyland family. Expect jumps between settings rather than a single linear thread.
Difficulty levelHigh puzzle density and a sprawling layout favor 4+ players and experienced groups that like to multitask. Newer teams may time out on a first go.

I ran this room twice; first time we lost and weren’t close. The vibe is tense and mysterious, and the set looks great, but the puzzles don’t always match the theme. On our second run a puzzle was apparently broken, and although staff insisted it was solvable, after we won they couldn’t show the solution and agreed it was faulty. You can win without finishing everything, which made that even more

Big footprint with lots of parallel tasks, so our team of five was perfect. We were constantly communicating across rooms and still raced the clock at the end. Super engaging run.

One of the stronger rooms at this venue, with well-crafted puzzles tied together by a solid theme. The space is huge, and you’ll want 4+ players to cover everything or work in parallel.

Epic set, tons to do, and the hints landed exactly when we needed them. We split into two pairs and still felt busy the whole time. Bring four or five people if you can.

Story got a little messy for me, but the puzzles slapped and the clue system kept things moving. If you like to split up and chase threads, you’ll have a blast.

Moody lighting and that eerie unknown feeling worked for me, but it never tipped into full horror. Puzzles were plentiful and mostly clean, and the time‑travel touches were fun. Solid night out.

We hit a prop that seemed busted and it stalled our flow. Staff tried to steer us but it didn’t fully add up, and a couple puzzles felt random to the story. Still, the set was cool.
