About the escape room

Roughly 600 miles N.E. of Newfoundland. The year is 1978.

The red eye flight from Amsterdam to Newark was a fairly ordinary flight, for a smuggler. When you hear the sound on a plane no one wants to hear... ENGINE FAILURE! The pilot has done a fair job of landing you in two or three pieces in the middle of the North Atlantic and you are floating… for now. But bad news turns worse because no one knows you are smuggling yourselves in the cargo hold.

Everyone else has been rescued, but you must rescue yourself. Your goal within 60 minutes is to turn on your hatch light (which indicates it is safe to leave the plane) before it goes under...

AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the aircraft build and atmosphere. The space is very small, with crawling and at least one puzzle that needs three people, yet there’s usually something for everyone to tackle. Many teams asked for hints, and a few found certain effects annoying, while others enjoyed the scares.
WeaknessesCramped layout and tight crawls can be uncomfortable. Some effects or sounds feel intrusive, and set dressing that doubles as clues can throw people off.
StrengthsConvincing plane setting with clever environmental clues and non‑linear flow. Solid teamwork moments and a few memorable frights.
SecurityThe room is tight and includes crawling through narrow spaces. If you have mobility or claustrophobia concerns, check with the venue about accommodations.
Level of fearExpect tense energy and a few scares, more thriller than horror. Likely fine for teens, but claustrophobic players or young kids may not love the confined spaces.
Actors' gameNo live actors are mentioned in the feedback. Interaction comes from the environment and hint system rather than character performances.
Quality of riddlesMostly non‑linear puzzles blend observation, logic, and light physical coordination. One sequence needs at least three participants, and several groups leaned on hints. Solutions feel fair once the room’s logic clicks, though the theming can misdirect.
PlotYou’re smugglers stuck in a downed airliner’s cargo hold in 1978, trying to power the hatch light before the ocean claims the fuselage. The premise is clear and supports the tasks without heavy exposition.
Difficulty levelModerate to challenging, especially for small or inexperienced teams. Veterans will enjoy the parallel paths but should expect to use a hint or two.
