I found this to be one of the weakest rooms I’ve done. The two-team setup made it noisy and hectic without adding fun, most of our time was spent testing keys on locks, and staff refused to let the losing team finish despite promising otherwise. Their attitude came off rude and condescending, so I’d steer clear.

We had fun overall and the puzzle flow kept three veterans engaged, but the room was quite dark and the music too loud to hear each other. Only afterward did we learn both could’ve been adjusted. Better signposting for which keys and codes go where would help. Our GM Toby was terrific and the parrot banter was a highlight.

Loved the versus twist. We ran six on one crew and it stayed busy and hilarious the whole time, with Toby hamming it up in character and the parrot chiming in. Ask them to nudge the music down and the lanterns up at the start—then it sings.

Cool concept and the game ran fine, but some walking surfaces felt iffy and easy to trip on in the dark. There were lanterns you could brighten, though we didn’t realize during play, which dampened our family outing. The post-game photo was poorly done, so the overall experience lagged behind the gameplay.
