AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the cinematic set, the sheer size of the space, and the abundance of non-linear, on-theme puzzles. Difficulty leans high, with many recommending 4–5 players or experienced duos willing to grind. Wear and tear shows in spots and some mechanisms feel aged, yet the overall flow and highlights still impress. The in-room GM approach divides opinion, from delightfully immersive to awkward or overly directive.
WeaknessesSome props show age, with occasional jank, laminated paper bits, or reset hiccups breaking immersion. The in-room GM can feel intrusive for some teams, and a few miss having a visible timer. Parking downtown can be a headache.
StrengthsStellar scenic design with memorable reveals and tactile interactions that feel substantial. Lots of multilayered, logical puzzles with minimal locks and strong Mayan flavor. Creative, immersive hint delivery when it clicks.
SecurityStandard briefing and a GM with you the whole time keep things safe and on track. Movement is moderate; any crawling is limited and can often be handled by one teammate.
Level of fearNot a horror room and generally kid-friendly; tension comes from adventure vibes and the clock, not jump scares. Light crawling may come up, but alternatives or teamwork usually avoid it.
Actors' gameMany shout out GMs for staying in character and giving timely nudges, which boosts immersion. Others felt the GM’s constant presence was awkward or too hands-on, so set expectations early if you prefer fewer hints.
Quality of riddlesPlentiful, non-linear, and thematic, with smart layering that rewards divide-and-conquer. Solutions are mostly fair and logical, though a few aging mechanisms can mislead or stall progress. Expect minimal padlocks and lots of physical interactions and patterning, including a standout constellation moment.
PlotClassic treasure-hunt through a Mayan pyramid toward a legendary jade mask, delivered with pulpy, Indiana Jones energy. Narrative beats land via scenic reveals rather than heavy storytelling.
Difficulty levelAdvertised as the toughest at this venue and it feels that way, especially for small teams. Best for groups of 4–5 or seasoned players; newer teams will be fine with hints but may feel the crunch.

Gorgeous room with big Indiana Jones vibes and a ton to do. Our GM stayed in character and gave just enough nudges. Non-linear flow let us split up and still feel useful. We left grinning.

We loved the immersive look and feel, even if a few mechanisms showed their age. Our in-character GM smoothed over issues and nudged us when we missed details. Tough for two experienced players, but very satisfying.

Immersive and on-theme with unique puzzles, plus a creative hint system that kept us in the world. It’s their hardest room and our trio escaped with 17 seconds left, brains fried but happy.

Great immersion and a rare Mayan theme with props that feel substantial. Not having a way to track time and a delayed door trigger caused confusion, and we ultimately didn’t escape. Likely age-related jank, but I’d still recommend it for the fun factor.

Production holds up well, with some expected wear over time. I didn’t find it their hardest, and the constellation bit stood out as fresh. The GM could’ve been warmer, but the last room lets a group divide tasks nicely. Plan ahead for tricky downtown parking.

Excellent Mayan pyramid adventure with an Indiana Jones spark. Creative, logical puzzles made us feel smart, though the final room as a duo was tense and frustrating in a good way. Our in-room GM stayed playful and helpful.

Loved the set and the puzzles, but I missed having a visible timer and the GM hovering wasn’t my thing. Still, the reveals were slick and the mechanisms felt meaty and fun.

I came in excited but the run got derailed by puzzles that weren’t working or weren’t reset, plus a GM who gave hints we didn’t ask for and reset things while we played. The theme and set were strong, but the immersion took a hit.

Set design is top-notch and still feels sturdy despite the room’s age. Puzzles are solid if familiar, but the way you physically interact with the environment is what really wows. Our GM made the whole experience pop.

The space keeps unfolding when you think you’ve reached the end. Puzzles are layered and thematic, with an impressive set throughout, though a few laminated pieces clash with the build quality. Having the GM in the room felt a bit awkward.

We tackled it as a duo and almost timed out, but the challenge was satisfying. A couple props felt tired, yet staff handled hiccups smoothly and kept the story rolling.

Cool theme but the GM was too involved for us and a couple things seemed out of reset. It killed the immersion even though the room itself looked great.

A feast for puzzle fans: clear, logical challenges that still stack in clever ways. Scenic work is strong, including an impressive ceiling, with minor wear that’s understandable for a veteran room.

Came with four friends and this space just kept opening up. So many puzzles, barely any locks, and one jaw-dropping ceiling moment. Totally worth the trip downtown.

A strong take on the ancient temple vibe with a standout constellation interaction I hadn’t seen done this well. Puzzles are consistently solid and the set is good, even if age peeks through. Definitely recommended.
