AI Overview

AIPlayers love the immersive potion-lab vibe and mostly logical puzzle design. It tends to play best with three to four people, with at least one task benefitting from a larger team. Game masters are frequently praised for thoughtful support, though some found the flow uneven with a few red herrings. Thunder-and-lightning effects and dim spots sometimes hinder communication and visibility.
WeaknessesSome report red herrings and occasional hiccups in puzzle flow. Lighting and loud effects can make it hard to see and hear. A few felt it wasn’t the venue’s most memorable marquee room.
StrengthsCharming set and story with smart, thematic challenges that feel fair. A couple of unique mechanics stand out without relying on heavy tech. Staff hospitality elevates the experience.
SecurityClear briefing and safe environment; staff allow phone flashlights when visibility dips. Effects can be loud, but there’s no intense physical challenge.
Level of fearMore whimsical than scary, suitable for families. Thunder effects may startle sensitive players but the tone stays light.
Actors' gameNo in-room actors, but game masters get kudos for friendly, timely nudges and even a little extra time when needed. Michael is often mentioned positively, and the owners are welcoming.
Quality of riddlesGenerally fair, thematic, and logical with a couple of fresh twists. A minority hit ambiguous steps or decoy clues. Cooperative elements shine and may require four people for one sequence.
PlotYou’re proving yourself as Isaac’s apprentice by cracking magical trials before the clock runs out. The story threads the spaces together without heavy exposition or spoilers.
Difficulty levelSolid mid-range difficulty; can feel like a lot for two, smoother with three to four. Beginners can succeed with hints, while veterans may find it straightforward yet satisfying.

Super fun room with puzzles that match the theme and make sense. We played Riddle High, Potion Master, and Naughty List, and this one looked the best to us. It was a lot for two, but our GM Michael was awesome and even gave us a couple extra minutes. The owners, Michael and Deanna, were warm and easy to chat with about escape rooms.

We liked the room and story, but the lighting could be better. They allowed phone flashlights, which helped. During thunder and lightning, it was tough to see and even hear teammates mid-sentence.

Loved the wizard lab vibe—tons of cheeky nods for Harry Potter fans without feeling copycat. Puzzles clicked and felt fair, and our group of four always had something to do. Left grinning.

We hit a couple of red herrings and stumbled on the order, so the flow dipped in the middle. That said, the set is charming and the solves make sense once you find the thread.

Fun room, but the thunder and strobe-y lightning made it hard to see and hear at times. Staff let us use phone flashlights, which helped a lot. Still a good time.

Neat space with engaging puzzles and a cool atmosphere, best with a small group of four. A couple of mechanics were new to us, but overall it’s a straightforward play that feels like a solid add-on rather than the headliner.

Not flashy tech, just smart, thematic challenges that flow. Michael ran a great game and the owners were genuinely welcoming. Favorite room of our trip.

We’re big fans of Mystery Mansion, but Potion Master’s wasn’t our top pick. There were enjoyable parts, yet too many red herrings for our taste and it didn’t feel as thrilling as other rooms here.

One clever team puzzle really needs four people to shine. Overall straightforward, a few unique touches, and a satisfying finish.

Great time all around. The puzzle flow worked and fit the setting, and I’d happily recommend this room and the rest of Mystery Mansion’s lineup.

My friends and I waited a long time for this one and it delivered. The theme is immersive and the puzzles are a blast.

Fun overall, though not the most memorable room I’ve done. There’s one interesting puzzle that explains why they suggest at least four players.

This one didn’t click for us. The puzzle flow felt off and we were confused more than we expected. The set looked fun, but I’d steer friends to other rooms at this venue first.

We played it right after finishing another room, so my brain was tired, but we still had a lot of fun. We weren’t sure where to start, and a quick nudge from our game master set us on track for the rest of the game.

Fun game flow in a neat room, plus the location itself is very cool.
