Moody Ozarks mystery with cinematic set design and classic, fair puzzles. Go for the atmosphere and story beats, but brush up on dial locks before you go.

AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the cabin vibe and thoughtful props, saying it feels like stepping into a woodland thriller. Puzzles skew classic and readable, with a few neat twists that keep momentum. The main pain point is a stubborn dial locker and a hint system that can feel slow if the GM is juggling rooms. Story is easy to follow and a touch gory without tipping into full horror.
WeaknessesDial combination locks tripped up multiple teams and ate time. Hint delivery can lag when the GM monitors more than one room. A quick lock refresher before starting would smooth the experience.
StrengthsImmersive set work that sells the remote-cabin-in-the-woods feel. Classic, satisfying puzzles with a clear narrative throughline. Friendly staff and solid pre-game welcome mentioned by some.
SecurityStandard escape-room safety with nothing hazardous reported. Asking for a quick demo of dial locks can prevent frustration, but overall the environment feels controlled and secure.
Level of fearCreepy and a bit gory in spots, more tense than terrifying. Likely fine for teens and up; very young or squeamish players might prefer a lighter theme.
Actors' gameNo live actors mentioned; interaction is mainly through the GM and the hint system. Customer service gets praise, though responsiveness varies by session.
Quality of riddlesA mix of classic escape-room logic with clear cluing and a couple clever turns. Generally fair once you understand the lock mechanics. The dial locker is the main technical hurdle rather than a logic issue.
PlotYou’re reporters chasing disappearances in the Ozarks, waking to a missing cameraman and a suspicious cabin. It’s a time-pressured rescue mystery with a few dark reveals, no spoilers needed.
Difficulty levelEasy-to-moderate overall, approachable for newer teams with a nudge or two. Enthusiasts should move quickly unless they stall on the dial lock.

This would’ve been a really fun, fairly gentle room with a great vibe if not for us blanking on how to work a dial locker. We cracked the combo fast but fumbled the opening steps, and hints steered us elsewhere at first, which burned time and amped up the frustration. Looked like the GM was covering two rooms, so help came slower than we needed. Aside from that hiccup, the puzzles were classic and

We felt like reporters stumbling on a real cabin in the woods. Needed a small push at the start, then momentum built nicely. A lock tutorial up front would make this near-perfect.

Turns out my partner and I are not great with dial locks, which exposed a weak spot in our game. The GM felt hands-off, so knowing the answer but failing to open the lock got frustrating. That said, the room offers fun spins on classic puzzles, a strong atmosphere, and a clear, slightly gory story.

Our team had a great time here. We needed a tiny nudge to get moving, then the flow clicked, and the set work blew us away—felt like a real cabin lost in the woods, which makes sense since the owner is a set designer.

Fun room with a creepy edge, not nightmare fuel. Biggest snag was a combination dial we knew the code for but couldn’t open, and the GM was a bit slow to respond. Would happily try their other rooms.

Loved the story arc and the Ozarks theme, and the props look film-quality. Nothing felt unfair, just classic puzzle goodness. If you know your way around locks, this is buttery smooth.

Set design is fantastic and the cabin vibe is spot on. We cruised through most puzzles, then got stuck wrestling a dial lock until the hint landed. Still had a blast and made it out with minutes to spare.
