Bootlegging is rampant in Fargo and Moorhead in the 1920s. Several groups are competing for the speakeasy and blind pig markets. Prohibition Agents headed by Agent Ness are hot on their trail. Ness has discovered that a lawyer has been working with one of the area’s most prominent crime families but is unsure which one. According to an informant, someone secretly delivered a box containing evidence against the bootleggers to the lawyer’s office behind one of the most notorious speakeasies. The lawyer represents several of the most dangerous gangsters in town and is in court for the next hour, defending one of them. You are Prohibition Agents sent into his office while he’s gone to search for the box, open it, and piece together the clues about which crime family is controlling most of the bootlegging in the area.
