AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the hand-painted set, soundtrack, and overall immersion. The main quest runs medium difficulty, while the optional brownie-point puzzles are tougher and sometimes gate the full ending. Staff and GMs earn lots of love, though a few teams hit hiccups with communication and one-way hint delivery. Some groups lose the story thread, especially if they skip the bonus content or encounter tech quirks.
WeaknessesOccasional prop malfunctions, jammy mechanisms, or a broken tool can stall progress. A few players find the plot muddy and dislike that key story beats sit behind optional puzzles. Dim lighting, loud music, color-heavy tasks, and lots of padlocks can overwhelm some groups.
StrengthsVibrant theming with nostalgic comic flair, standout audio, and charming voice work. Puzzles feel varied and fair with a good mix of locks and tech. Bonus content gives fast teams meaningful extra challenge.
SecurityClear pregame briefing, including how the bonus round works. The space is dim but monitored, with upbeat audio; the environment feels safe and controlled.
Level of fearNot scary and very family-friendly; the dimmer light is for vibe, not frights. Kids have successfully contributed and had a blast.
Actors' gameNo live actors; interaction comes via voiceovers and the GM. Most shout out friendly, accommodating hosts, though the one-way hint system can make back-and-forth clunky.
Quality of riddlesA creative, often non-linear blend of gen‑1 locks, tech triggers, wordplay, observation, and a dash of dexterity. The main path is logical and approachable; the bonus round spikes difficulty for enthusiasts. Color ID and text-dense moments can drag in moody lighting.
PlotYou’re tracing missing animators and may tumble into Dr. Hader’s cartoon realm. Many enjoy the twisty arc, but it can feel fuzzy unless you complete the bonus segment.
Difficulty levelMain game sits around medium; many experienced groups finish early, while the bonus content is notably harder. Best with 3–5 players; duos can win but will hustle.

Beautiful set and fun story, but the GM can’t hear you, so hints can miss the mark. A shift change led to an off-target clue, a jam-prone mechanism slowed us, lighting muddied color puzzles, and the music was loud. Our GM tried hard to salvage the experience.

Played after Mad Rapper and both were fantastic, with this one a bit easier. The production is tight, the puzzles are fresh, and the lighting is dim for mood, not scares. Nice blend of locks and tech, and our GM even let us stay a bit to polish off bonus puzzles.

This room nails the comic-book vibe with a cute storyline and a twist I didn’t see coming. Optional extra puzzles are a cool touch, but one tool in our game was faulty and dragged things out. Still had a great time thanks to the charming theme and upbeat staff.

Unusual theme with lots of puzzles that mostly serve the narrative, plus slick set work and tech. The story can get muddled, and the neon bonus bundles looked out of place; one puzzle needed a manual trigger. We cleared it as three, but four would be comfier, and I wouldn’t start here as a first-ever room.

Thematic puzzles and musical flair made this a joy, and it never stopped being fun. It’s on the shorter side for fast teams, so the bonus games help fill the hour. I just wanted a touch more main content.

Bursting with indie charm, creative art, and great audio, but some tech felt tired. A few solved steps didn’t trigger, doors misbehaved, and audio was low. The true ending sits behind bonus puzzles that can take 15–20 minutes. Still easy to recommend for its uniqueness.

We escaped as a duo, but it was a workout. GM was attentive and the side quests gave us plenty to chew on at the end. I’d recommend 3–4 people for comfort. Super fun vibe overall.

Main puzzles felt medium and we wrapped them in about 40 minutes. The bonus section was a blast and definitely tougher; we timed out on the last answer. Highly recommend overall.

Gorgeous hand-painted sets, bouncy soundtrack, and tons of little a‑ha moments. We finished the main story with time to spare and the bonus puzzles kept us buzzing till the last second. Big grin room for sure.

Cool premise but the story execution didn’t totally land. Great set and some clever puzzles. It seems the last chunk became bonus content, and if you skip it you miss the finale beat, which felt odd to me. We did it anyway.

Creative ways to earn codes, but the sheer amount of padlocks wore on me. The story is fun, and the bonus round at the end adds extra challenge with some of the hardest puzzles in the room.

Fun idea, but there were too many padlocks and one tool wasn’t working which killed momentum. Music felt a bit loud and we lost the story halfway through. Still had a decent time.

Took two kids and they were all-in from the first puzzle. Not scary, just bright, silly, and smart, with a sweet throwback vibe. Staff was kind and we even snagged a couple bonus points at the end.

Loved the comic styling and voice acting, and the puzzles felt fair. The one-way hint system made it hard to ask quick questions, but we still had a blast. Easy recommend for theme lovers.

Theme and a few puzzles were cute, and the little bonus trivia was a nice idea. One skill-based task ate 15 minutes and a lock seemed jammed even after a hint. Most other puzzles didn’t really grab me.
