The year is 1989. You’ve been on the trail of “El Alto”, leader of the most powerful drug cartel the world has ever seen, for years now with almost nothing to show for it. His network is extensive, with labs and covers spread across several islands in the Caribbean. Every time you thought you’d found something, you find you’re too late; he’s cleaned out and is in the wind once more. But your luck may have finally changed. Yesterday, local sources here in Bermuda provided evidence of a connection between El Alto and the local police. Your team has detained the local officers for the time being, so if this doesn’t pay off, you could be in a lot of trouble. But if you’re lucky, this office may have all the evidence you need to bring this ruthless criminal to his knees. You’ll have to hurry, but maybe you can bring down El Alto once and for all.

AI Overview

AIMost teams had a blast and many escaped right at the buzzer, calling it tough but doable. Game masters—especially Lydia and John—get frequent praise for helpful, timely hints. A few guests felt the experience was average and mentioned uneven customer service. Several note a standout first room and a less compelling second room.
WeaknessesSecond half can feel weaker than the first. Occasional comments about subpar customer service. A couple of veterans found it good, not great.
StrengthsImmersive theme with a strong opening and puzzles that make sense when they click. Hints land at the right time without overleading. Hosts elevate the experience.
SecurityNo safety concerns noted in reviews. Standard briefings and attentive monitoring keep play smooth.
Level of fearNot a scary room; it’s tense and crime-focused rather than horror. Suitable for most groups, including teens okay with the theme.
Actors' gameNo live actors reported, but GM interaction is a highlight. Lydia and John get shout-outs for clear briefings and spot-on nudges.
Quality of riddlesA fair mix of search, logic, and connections with satisfying aha moments. The first room earns praise, while the second draws mixed feedback. Difficulty trends higher but stays logical.
PlotInvestigate a Bermuda police office in 1989 to link El Alto to evidence before he vanishes again. The stakes rise as you uncover clues and race the clock.
Difficulty levelModerate to hard; great for experienced teams and confident newcomers who’ll ask for a hint. Beginners can still get through with guidance.
