Dynamite Pete, The Recluse Of The “Valley of Intrigue“

There are many well known Whiskey Hollow legends and lore, however there are also those lesser known, but no less intriguing of stories, amongst them is that of Dynamite Pete. Running through the middle of Van Buren, New York’s Military Lot, No. 18 is a region known as Whiskey Hollow. It is said that the region was once inhabited by “settlers and squatters of the pioneer kind who loved good liquor, and loved it often.” One of them was a man whose moniker was Dynamite Pete. There’s not much known about Pete, however, a newly discovered journal detailed the mystery of his abrupt disappearance. If you are able to find and piece together the parts of Pete’s journal, you may just be able to escape from his mysterious shanty.
