AI Overview

AIPlayers consistently praise the immersive set, dense props, and smart use of space, with a few small tech moments sprinkled in. Puzzles skew lock-forward and can feel vague, and at least one task has been reported as skippable. The fear factor is mild but present thanks to fake blood and a gross-feeling search in liquid. Most groups had fun and stayed engaged, with duos finding it tougher than larger teams.
WeaknessesSome clues read too ambiguous and one puzzle being skippable bothered players. Expect lots of padlocks and limited high-tech elements. One messy hand-in-liquid moment isn’t for everyone.
StrengthsStrong atmosphere with loads of hands-on discovery and memorable surprises. Good pacing that keeps you on your toes and a story that threads through the environment.
SecurityNo safety issues reported by players. Expect darkness, fake blood, and a liquid-touch task that can be messy, so dress accordingly.
Level of fearNot very scary, more tense and gritty. Fake blood and a tactile ick-factor could be too much for younger kids or squeamish players.
Actors' gameNo data on live actors or in-room character interactions. The experience feels self-guided and driven by the environment.
Quality of riddlesMix of searching, logic, and sequencing, heavy on padlocks with a dash of tech. When they land, they’re satisfying, but ambiguity can stall smaller teams. Nonlinear paths may require strong communication.
PlotYou wake up memoryless in a wrecked motel room beside a corpse and must reconstruct what happened before danger returns. The story unfolds through clues and environmental details without overt spoilers.
Difficulty levelModerate to challenging, especially for two players; three to five feels like a sweet spot. Enthusiasts will enjoy the density, while newcomers may need extra guidance to avoid stalls.

Great use of space and tons to rummage through. One task required sticking a hand into a mystery liquid, which I could’ve done without, but everything else was tense in a fun way. Would recommend with that heads-up.

Solid room with a dark vibe. It leans on locks, but there are a few slick tech bits and clever connections. Fake blood sets the tone without making it a haunt. Our group of four had a blast.

Dark fun with punchy surprises and a story that clicks into place. Loved the tactile props, and they even let us bring drinks, which added to the night-out vibe. Easily one of my favorite motel-themed rooms.

Clever use of the space with a few fun tech touches. Not really scary, but there’s fake blood, and one puzzle could apparently be skipped, which I didn’t love.

We did it as two and found the puzzles confusing and vague, even though the set looked great. By the end it just didn’t feel rewarding.

Loaded with props that sell the atmosphere. Not much flashy tech, and it definitely relies more on padlocks than gadgets.

Moody, grimy, and super engaging. The set tells the story and the reveals land just right. We left buzzing and comparing notes the whole ride home.

Went as a duo and got tangled up in some vague steps. The room looks great, but a couple puzzles felt guessy and we heard one could be skipped, which was frustrating. Not a bad experience, just not super satisfying for us.

We picked up two strangers to fill the team and it worked out great. The room kept us alert with unexpected moments that made it memorable and pushed it into my top picks.

Nice build overall. I wasn’t a fan of having to stick my hand into some liquid, but the rest kept us on our toes and felt well done.

We had a great time here and the room leans into dark fun. The experience explains itself as you go, and we left wanting more rooms from this venue.

They let you bring alcohol into the room, which felt iconic and set the tone for a wild night.
