Company Boggled Escape Rooms

Gameplay was a rush—in a good way. The room branches a lot, but there’s so much to chew on that it stays fun, and the mix of easy reads and deeper thinking felt spot on. It’s proudly Gen 1 with gorgeous hand-painted pieces and zero tech, and Maggie’s warm welcome set the tone. We finished as two without hints and even set a record time.

There’s a lot to do, and we had to remind ourselves to slow down and read the clues—our GM Erica was fantastic at nudging us just right. We don’t usually love combo-lock rooms, but the passion in the build and puzzle variety made it shine.

I’d call it a 4 out of 5 overall. It’s a pure mechanical room packed with locks, but the set detail—from painted tiles to custom woodwork—earns real points, and the old-school puzzles require satisfying brainwork. I enjoyed it a lot, even if there weren’t massive wow moments.

We played it twice months apart and enjoyed both runs, with a few tweaks in between. It’s fully mechanical and shows off real creativity in both the set and the puzzle builds. Plenty for two people and workable for families—baby-friendly too. Excited for their next rooms.

Took our tween and had a blast. Plenty to solve, nothing scary, and the set feels lovingly built. Staff were incredibly kind and made us feel like regulars on our first visit.

Too many combo locks for my taste and not many cinematic moments. That said, the logic was clean and nothing felt unfair. Good for puzzle purists, less so for showmanship seekers.

I don’t usually love Egyptian themes, but this one won me over. The puzzles are sharp and varied, the flow hums along, and the handmade aesthetic proves you don’t need electronics to thrill. You can see the care in both the sets and the puzzle parts.

One of the stronger takes on the pharaoh-curse flavor. The flow is clean, it keeps things tactile, and it never leans on tech for impact. Clever without feeling cruel, and I’d suggest three or more people for the best time.

So happy to find a new spot and chat with the owners afterward—one of them built the puzzles by hand, which you can tell. It’s a classic Gen 1 game that still feels current, thoughtful puzzles and nice décor, even if it’s not as ultra-immersive as the big players. Had a great time and looking forward to what’s next.

Really thoughtful design for a mostly locks-and-keys build. With two people it can get tough if you stall, just because there’s so much happening. I’d bring 3+ to spread the load.
