Company Amazing Escape Room

Really well built and fun; loved that it leans on hands‑on interactions instead of the usual number/letter/directional locks. The set looks great, there are some cool surprises, and our GM was kind and attentive. We were told it was the second hardest there, but it felt pretty approachable; our group of three finished in 37 minutes with one hint.

Huge letdown from the start: no GM or manager at check-in, and we had to hunt them down. They skipped the intro video, so jumping from an Old West saloon into a time-lab made no sense. When a puzzle broke, we waited ages for help until my husband found staff in the back, and they ended up unplugging the thing so we could continue. One of the worst runs I’ve had.

I came in excited, but lots of stuff didn’t fire, some triggers lagged so badly the GM likely had to push them, and the boat section was down. Finishes didn’t give clear feedback—no lights or anything—so it felt off. Parking is scarce, we ended up across the street, and the lobby location wasn’t obvious.

Loved the set and the swing-era soundtrack. With four of us, the room split nicely and then funneled back together for big solves—no dead time. We escaped with a minute to spare and felt like bootlegger-busting pros.

The décor is fantastic, but the room ran easy—we finished with 33 minutes left. We chased three separate puzzles that turned out to be red herrings, and some openings made no sound, so we missed them at first.

Overall a fun room with a fantastic set and puzzles we mostly enjoyed. A couple bits felt janky—one puzzle triggered with 8 of 9 pieces in place—and we spotted a code before we were meant to. Not my favorite for flow, but the build is impressive, and we were just two minutes shy of the record; knowing one mechanic sooner probably would’ve sealed it.

I can’t get behind the policy of no clues for the first and last ten minutes and a ten-minute wait between hints. There’s a color-button puzzle that needs repeated and simultaneous presses, which creates a ridiculous number of permutations, and the clueing doesn’t narrow it enough. I’m not rating it lower just because we failed. The set looked great and most puzzles were fine, though a few didn’t work as intended. The real issue was the hint policy: waiting 15 minutes between clues stalled the game and was very frustrating when we needed help.

Some mechanisms were finicky and didn’t accept correct inputs right away, and the first area was pretty dark, which made reading clues tough. A warned moving-floor moment never happened and the GM said it’s been down for a while. Cute, not-too-hard puzzles overall, and the second half both looked and played better. With fixes, this could be great.

Loved the saloon-to-bank setup—felt like walking into a movie set. Our newbie friends had a blast and we never got stuck for long. Great starter room with neat tactile bits and not many locks. Would bring family next time.
